How To Play Roulette
Roulette is said to date back to ancient Greek times but was made popular in French casinos over the last century. Roulette is arguably the most recognizable of all casino games. Your objective is to successfully predict the outcome of the spin of the wheel. The Roulette wheel contains 37 beds into which the ball will drop following the spin. You can choose a variety of bets with wide-ranging rewards.
Before the wheel spins, place your bet on one or more of the squares on the table.
There are several different types of bet you can place and by holding your mouse over the Roulette table at the casino these various options will be highlighted:
| Bet |
Odds |
| Straight bet - pick a number | 35-1 |
| Column bet - pick a column of 12 numbers down the table | 2-1 |
| Dozen bet - pick groups of 12 numbers across the table | 2-1 |
| Red or Black - predict the colour of the bed the ball will land in | 1-1 |
| Odds or Evens - predict either an odd or even number | 1-1 |
| High or Low - predict whether the ball will land on numbers 1-18 or 19-36 | 1-1 |
| Split or Two Number bet - choose two adjacent numbers and bet on the line dividing the two numbers | 17-1 |
| Row or Street bet - choose a 3-number row across the table | 11-1 |
| Six Number bet - choose two adjacent 3-number rows | 5-1 |
| Corner or Square bet - choose four adjacent numbers and bet on the intersection between the four | 8-1 |
You can have a straight bet on 0 (paying 35-1!). In all other bets the ball landing on 0 will result in the bet being lost.
